The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has released its latest notification for the recruitment of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Other Posts.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the posts through the official website on or before 28th October 2022.

Educational Qualification:

Professor

Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and a minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at an equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.

Associate Professor

  • Applicants have good academic records, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.

  • Candidates have a Master ‘s Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed.

Assistant Professor

Candidates must have a Master's degree from an Indian university with a minimum of 55% overall or an equivalent grade on a point scale in the relevant/related/related discipline, or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university.

Librarian

Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed. At least ten years as a Librarian at any level in the University Library or ten years of teaching as an Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years of experience as a college librarian.

Assistant Librarian

Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks. A consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of the Library.
