Mahindra Tractors Sales Numbers for July 2023 Released
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), on Tuesday, August 1, announced its tractor sales numbers for July 2023, which is 24,168 Units overall. Domestic sales in July 2023 were at 24,168 units, as against 21,684 units during July 2022. Total tractor sales (Domestic + Exports) during July 2023 were at 25,175 units, as against 23,307 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month stood at 1,007 units.

However, a recent breakthrough by researchers from the University of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture (UADA) has paved the way for a potential solution to this problem.

Pomegranate Exports from India Resume to the US; 150 Boxes Shipped to New York
APEDA, in collaboration with the National Plant Protection Organisation of India, US-APHIS, the Maharashtra government, and the Agriculture Marketing Board, along with the National Research Centre on Pomegranate, achieved a significant milestone by facilitating the first trial consignment of pomegranates to the US via air route.

IMD Predicts Normal Rainfall for India in August-September
India's monsoon season is expected to see normal rainfall during the second half, despite concerns over El Nino and other unfavorable conditions impacting the weather. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) made this announcement on Monday, stating that although El Nino has not had a significant impact on monsoon performance so far, its influence is likely to be visible in the coming months.

Kashmir's Saffron Leaves 'Silver Varq' Behind in the Price Chase at Rs 5 Lakh/kg!
Saffron from the Kashmir Valley has emerged as a strong competitor to 'silver varq' in terms of price as per recent reports. Both saffron and 'silver varq' are used for decorating sweets, giving them a premium look and enhancing their appeal to customers. The report indicates that the best-quality, pure saffron is now priced at Rs 4,950 per 10 gm, while 10 gm of 'silver varq' is sold at Rs 800.
