    Yara India, a part of Norwegian multinational Yara International - the world’s leading crop nutrition company and a provider of agricultural, industrial, and environmental solutions, today announced the release of its first India Sustainability Report. The report describes Yara’s approach to enhancing the sustainability of its business processes in India and progress towards change.

     

  • ITC Ltd Inaugurates its 59-Acre Integrated Food Manufacturing Factory in Telangana

    The major facility for Integrated Food Manufacturing and Logistics in Medak, built by FMCG giant ITC for Rs 450 crore, was officially opened on Monday by Telangana Minister for IT and Industries K T Rama Rao. The ceremony for the inauguration was hosted by Sanjiv Puri, Chairman, and Managing Director of ITC Ltd.

    The Front of Pack Nutrition Labeling (FOPL) regulations are being developed by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). Star ratings for food quality are one of the measures suggested in its recommendations released last September.

     

  • PM Kisan Latest Update: Around 3 Lakh Women Farmers Benefited from the Scheme, says President Murmu

    President said that the government has also implemented several schemes including Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), Soil Health Card and Kisan Credit Card (KCC), which has now been extended to the fishermen & livestock farmers. Budget 2023: In her first address to the joint sitting of Parliament today, President Droupadi Murmu said that as many as three lakh women farmers have received the benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. She added that Rs 54,000 crore has been transferred to them till now under the scheme.
