About Activated Carbon:

Carbonaceous material derived from charcoal is present in activated carbon. Activated carbon is created through the pyrolysis of organic plant materials. Coal, coconut shells and wood, sugarcane bagasse, soybean hulls, and nutshells are among the materials used.

In most cases, activated charcoal is considered safe, and adverse reactions are uncommon. However, it may cause some unpleasant side effects, the most common of which is vomiting, particularly if sorbitol is also present. Activated charcoal has been linked to bowel blockages in extremely rare cases.
