As we know that India is currently under lockdown due to Coronavirus or Covid-19 that has created havoc across the world putting economies, business & other daily life activities at a halt. Farmers, labourers and poor people are the ones who are suffering the most because of this lockdown. Keeping this in mind the government has initiated many relief measures and schemes for the farmers and needy. According to the Finance Ministry, the first instalment of Rs 16,146 crore has been sent to 8 crore farmers in their bank accounts under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched many beneficial schemes for crores of farmers across the country and PM-Kisan is one such scheme. Under this scheme, the government deposits Rs 6000 every year in the bank accounts of small and marginal farmers.

The central government has started the process of adding names of farmers in the new financial year i.e. FY2020-21. Also as the new financial year has already started, a new list will be released by government. So if you want to take the benefit of the scheme then you will have to register under PM Kisan Yojana.

PM Kisan Nidhi 2020 list: How to check your name in the list
If you have applied and want to know whether your name is in the list to get Rs. 6000 annually, then you will have to visit the official website. You can also check the names of farmers who have already received the benefit of this scheme by the government - according to the state / district wise / tehsil / village. The ‘pmkisan.gov.in’ contains complete list of all the beneficiaries of this scheme.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare will release the new list of farmers benefiting under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi till May.
PM Kisan Nidhi 2020 list: Steps to check your name
Step 1 - Go to the website pmkisan.gov.in.
Step 2 – Look for 'Farmer’s Corner' at the menu bar on the home page.
Step 3 – Now click on the link that reads 'beneficiary list'.
Step 4 - After this enter your state, district, sub-district, block and village details.
Step 5 - After filling this, click on Get Report.
Step 6 - PM Kisan Beneficiary list will appear on the screen
