The harsh reality of today is that though the country is becoming advanced day by day but the farmers are still facing many problems to avail any government facility or scheme. It takes days and sometimes months if a farmer needed any document related to his land. Farmers have always complaint that a lot of time and money gets wasted to get these necessary land record documents or proofs.
Keeping all these things in mind, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to make all these necessary documents available online for the farmers, so that farmers can get all these documents just sitting at home, says an official.
The Madhya Pradesh government has made the land records available from web-gis software for the farmers in the districts of Shahdol, Sidhi, Ratlam, Dewas, Dhar, Anuppur, Ashoknagar, Agar-Malwa, Sheopur, Umaria, Neemuch, Niwari, and Katni. It has now been implemented in all these districts. In addition to this, the rules have also been simplified.
From September 11, copies of digitally signed land records (mortgages, registered diversion certificates) have been made available at the Public Service Centers of 21 districts.
Now, farmers can apply online to get the public copies and documents of their land by just sitting at home, they will no more have to run from one place to another. Moreover, they will not even have to fill an application or form in the tehsil office.
As reported, application for land record copy will be free of cost. The state government has simplified the rates of supply copies from 1 August 2019. The concerned collector, tehsil and distribution centers have been asked to promote the revised rate in full.
