PM Kisan Yojana: If you are a beneficiary of PM Kisan Yojana and want your next installment without any delay then complete the eKYC as early as possible. According to reports, all the beneficiaries of PM Kisan have to complete the eKYC before 31 May 2022 so that the next installment can be transferred to their bank accounts.
Union Agriculture Minister, Narendra Tomar recently announced that Prime Minister Modi will release the 11th installment on 31 May 2022. This means farmers who complete the eKYC before the deadline will only get the money in their bank accounts.
Why is eKYC mandatory for PM Kisan
Last year, the Central government had made eKYC mandatory for all the farmers registered under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The decision was taken to prevent frauds/scams and ineligible people from taking the benefit of this scheme.
The existing/old as well as new farmers have to fill in the eKYC without any delay.
How to complete PM Kisan eKYC
You can complete this work online as well as offline. If you prefer doing it online then use your PM Kisan mobile app or laptop or computer. Follow the steps given below to complete your eKYC online;
Go to the official website of PM Kisan.
On the right-hand side at the farmers' corner option, you will find eKYC option. Click it
After this enter your Aadhaar and click on the search button.
Fill in the required details and submit.
If everything goes well then eKYC will be completed or else it will show invalid. In this case, you will have to contact the nearest Aadhar Seva Kendra.
Update eKYC offline
Step 1 – go to your nearest CSC Center
Step 2 – Submit the Aadhar Update at PM Kisan Account
Step 3 – After that enter your biometrics to log in
Step 4 – Now fill in your Aadhar Card Number & Submit the form
You will receive a confirmation SMS on registered mobile number
