Amid the ongoing farmers protest, Prime Minister Narendra Modi disbursed the seventh installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on 25 December 2020 to over 9 crore farmers.
Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Central Government provides monetary help of Rs. 6000 per year to the farmers. The amount is directly sent to the farmers account in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each.
This amount has been credited in the bank accounts of most of the farmers but if you haven’t received the seventh installment in your account then you must check your application status and find out the reason. The government has provided many helpline and toll free numbers for enquiry purpose.
Moreover, there could be many reasons for not receiving PM Kisan money including payment failure.
Reason for payment failure
The biggest reason for payment failure is that the name written in the application does not match with Aadhaar or bank account. While filling the application form you have to be very careful that all the details have been written carefully. A small mistake can delay the payment.
How to correct details
You can correct the details easily through PM Kisan mobile app or even at the official government website.

Go to the official website of PM-Kisan Scheme (https://pmkisan.gov.in/).

At Farmers Corner, look for Edit Aadhaar Details option and click it.

Now enter your Aadhaar number here. After this enter a captcha code and submit.

If your name is wrongly written, then you can correct it online.

If there is any other mistake, then you will have to contact your Lekhpal or Agriculture Department office
