Here is a piece of good news for farmers who haven’t updated/completed their eKYC. As per latest reports, the central government has decided to extend the deadline for completing the compulsory eKYC till 31st July 2022, from the previous deadline of 31st May 2022.
A flash on the PM Kisan official website says that the “Deadline of eKYC for all the PMKISAN beneficiaries/farmers has been extended till 31st July 2022.”
PM Kisan 11th Installment Update
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 31, 2022, distributed the 11th installment of financial benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which is popularly known as PM Kisan to as many as 10 crore farmers in the country. The Prime Minister had released the amount through an event from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
During the occasion, he also spoke to a number of beneficiaries of various government schemes including PM Kisan Yojana. He asked people if they were actually getting the benefit of the schemes launched by the Centre.

Steps to complete PM Kisan e-KYC
Step 1 – Go to PM Kisan's official website
Step - Now click on eKYC option available on the right side of the homepage
Step 3 – Then enter Aadhaar Card number, captcha code & click on search
Step 4 – After that enter your mobile number linked with Aadhaar card
Step 5 - Tap 'Get OTP' and fill in the OTP in the specified field.
If all the details match then your eKYC is complete or else it will be marked as invalid. In this case, you will have to contact the local Aadhar Seva Kendra in such cases.
How to check if PM Kisan 11th installment has reached your account
Step 1 – Again go to PM Kisan official webpage
Step 2 - Click on the ‘Beneficiary status’ option in right-hand side of the page
Step 3 – Then enter your Aadhaar number / account number – any one
Step 4 – Finally click on ‘Get data’ tab
Depending on your status, the details will be displayed on the screen. If your name is on the beneficiary list then only you will get Rs. 2000.
Under the PM-Kisan yojana, the government provides a financial benefit of Rs.6,000 every year to the farmers in three equal installments of Rs.2000 every four months.
