Currently, more than 10 crore farmers in the country are waiting for the next installment of PM Kisan, a scheme that was launched by the Government of India on 24 February 2019, to help farmers. The scheme provides financial assistance of Rs. 6,000 per year to the farmers in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each.
The last installment under the scheme was released in May and now the Centre is gearing to disburse the 12th installment to farmers.
However, to avail the benefits of this scheme, farmers must link their Aadhaar Card numbers with PM Kisan Scheme after the registration process. Those who fail to do so will not get the financial assistance.
Method to link Aadhaar Card with PM Kisan
Below we have given the step-by-step process to link Aadhaar Card with Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana;

First, go to your bank branch that is linked with the Aadhaar Card

Now sign the photocopy of the Aadhaar Card in the presence of the concerned bank official. Don’t forget to carry your original Aadhaar Card.

After verification of the aadhaar card, online aadhaar seeding process will be completed by the bank.

The 12-digit unique identification-based Aadhaar number would be filled in it.

After successful verification procedure, the farmer will receive a message on his registered mobile number.
Make sure to fill correct details at the time of filling in the information.
How to check PM Kisan Status through Beneficiary List
As the government can release the next installment of PM Kisan anytime now, farmers must check their status through the beneficiary list. Take a look at the steps:
Step 1 - Go to PM Kisan website
Step 2 - Click on ‘Beneficiary List’ under the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the homepage
Step 3 - A new page will open wherein you have to select your state, district, sub-district, block & village from the dropdown.
Step 5- Finally click on ‘Get Report’.
Step 6 - Look for your name, if it’s there, you will receive the money.
