After launching the projects, Yogi said that farmers in these two districts are changing the image of their region by selling their agricultural products globally.

He gifted the residents of Ballia 47 projects worth 80 crores and launched 57 projects worth 963.52 crores in Chandauli. Yogi also unveiled a big statue of former prime minister Chandra Shekhar during his visit to Ballia.

The chief minister claimed that Ballia, situated between the Ganga and the Saryu rivers and well-known for green vegetable production, could be developed into a "multi-model hub." Although Ballia is famous for its 'Baaghi' reputation, it's time to bring a change. Its transformation into a multi-model center would aid in growing vegetable export, which will boost farmers' income and increase their independence, said Yogi.

The CM claimed that Ballia's geographic location made the soil healthy and ideal for growing green vegetables. He added that there was a huge opportunity for preparing food and distributing it via waterways.

"Rivers Ganga and Saryu run through Ballia, which can help in the transportation of agricultural products to the global market via water routes. This will strengthen trade. Thousands of people will receive employment here directly and won't need to travel to other states for work if the Haldia-Varanasi waterway via Ballia is used," he stated.

The CM praised the former prime minister Chandra Shekhar on the occasion, adding that he surpassed party lines and practiced politics of ideals.

The CM also met other young mothers during his visit and performed the grain initiation ceremony (Annaprashan) of their newborn babies. He claimed that the government was working to advance Chandauli's development.

The development projects included building highways, flyovers, an Indo-Israeli center of excellence for vegetables, and a center for vegetable export promotion. He claimed that the construction there was being done on a war footing.
