Institute of Agricultural sciences of BHU offers Undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in agriculture.

The students who are seeking to take admission to B.Sc agriculture have to appear in Undergraduate entrance test for B.Sc Agriculture (UET-AG) which is conducted by the controller of examinations, BHU. 15% of the seats shall be available for admission for candidates nominated by the ICAR on the basis of AIEEA entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Candidates must have past 10+2 or equivalent in agriculture or science having chemistry, physics, Biology/ mathematics from a recognized board or university with minimum 50% marks aggregate. 

  • Candidates should not be less than 16 years as on 1s  July of the year of admission and not more than 25 years of age as on 1stJuly of the year of admission. 

  • He or she should be physically fit to carry out the fieldwork related to agriculture. 

  • In case of SC/ST candidates there will be no requirement for minimum percentage of marks in the aggregate in the qualifying examination except that they must have passed the qualifying examination & appeared in UET – 2021 and for OBC candidates there will be a relaxation of 5% aggregate in the qualifying examination in minimum eligibility requirements. 

Examination Pattern: 

The paper will carry 300 marks and will contain 200 multiple choice questions. Students will have to answer a total of 100 questions in 120 minutes from 5 sections of question paper.

Step 1. Registration on the Portal; you can register on the official portal with your email ID and mobile Number. All important communications related to entrance test and admission will be sent to the registered Email ID and mobile number

Step 4. Uploading of photographs and Signature 

Step 5. Payment of Application Processing/ entrance test fee.
