Centre for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPPGG
Founded in 2017, the Centre for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPPGG) anchored in Department of Planning is an autonomous think-tank to support the Government of Uttarakhand to strategize governance and policy reforms. It is registered under the Societies Act 1860. The Governing Council is headed by Chief Minister and its members include the Chief Secretary, Secretaries and experts from various prestigious institutions. CPPGG is powered by the belief that research, integrated planning, knowledge capitalization and partnerships are essential for informed policy and improved developmental interventions. One of the major mandates of the Centre is to assist the state government departments in policy-level support by providing an analytical base. CPPGG has also been entrusted to provide support to state departments to accelerate the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Uttarakhand.
