The packaging industry is a dynamic and vital sector that plays a critical role in protecting, advertising, and delivering products to consumers all over the world. Aside from its primary duty of preserving goods during transit and storage, the packaging industry is constantly evolving due to shifting customer tastes, sustainability imperatives, and technology breakthroughs.
Over the next decade, India will prioritize the shift of this industry toward sustainability and smart solutions. To further incentivize innovation in this sector, the Government of India implemented a host of measures such as the single-use plastic ban legislation, profit-linked tax incentives for food packaging, and the approval of the National Packaging Initiative.
In the light of the foregoing, and following the spectacular success of the previous 4th editions, the CII is holding the 5th Edition of the CII Packaging Summit from 0930 - 1700 hours on 02 February 2024 at Delhi/NCR.
