FICCI, in collaboration with the Indian Navy, is organizing a three-day exhibition from February 21 to 23, 2024, to demonstrate the capabilities of the Indian defense industry during the Indian Navy's Multilateral Naval Exercise called Exercise MILAN 2024, which will be held at the Naval Dockyard in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
MILAN 2024 is the flagship International Naval Exercise held in Visakhapatnam under the auspices of the Eastern Naval Command. The Multilateral Naval Exercise will be held for the 12th time. The Exercise's theme is "Cohesion, Camaraderie, Collaboration," and its goal is to improve professional interaction between navies, raise operational abilities, develop improved interoperability, and stimulate the exchange of best practices/procedures.
MILAN 24 is the largest international naval exercise, attracting 50 friendly foreign countries, over 20 foreign warships, and one maritime patrol aircraft. In addition, a huge number of Indian Navy ships, submarines, and aircraft, including the aircraft carriers Vikrant and Vikramaditya, will attend the event. MILAN 24 would highlight India's expanding importance in the maritime sphere.
