"Road Safety" is a major concern all over the world. The growing road network, increased motorization, travel dangers, and exposure to traffic growth all contribute to an increase in traffic accidents and injuries. The primary enablers for achieving the objective of a safe road ecosystem are awareness, responsible behaviour, innovation, and technology.
In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ambition of reducing road accidents by half by 2025, and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which seek to provide access to safe, affordable, accessible, equitable, and sustainable transport systems for all by 2030. During the last year, 2022-23, more than 10,000 kids were made aware of ASSOCHAM's community-level road safety awareness initiatives.
