Eyes are the window to the world and the most precious gift to enjoy a quality life and overall development of an individual and society eventually to promote happiness and prosperity as well. Hence, taking very good care of eye health is critical as well as a matter of high concern.

Eye diseases are on the rise around the world as we all largely neglect eye health and problems related to it. As per World Health Organization (WHO), at least 2.2 billion people worldwide have a near, or distance vision impairment and the visual impairment of half of such population could have been avoided if the patient had received proper diagnosis and treatment. The burden of eye health weighs more heavily on low-and middle-income countries, among elderly people residing in rural parts.

With the paramount objectives to cascade awareness and disseminate wisdom to substantially prevent low vision problems, eye-related critical diseases, and blindness eventually to live a healthier, happier, independent, and prosperous life, under Illness To Wellness campaign, ASSOCHAM is organizing a webinar during “Low Vision Awareness Month” on “Managing Eye Care” scheduled on Wednesday, 23rd February 2022 from 3.00 PM To 4.00 PM.
