Growing up in India we all share a common appetite for Chinese food items. While some of these foods are so delicious, they are also very easy to prepare at home. Here are some of the tastiest and easiest recipes for you to try from the comfort of your home!

Veg noodles

When it comes to noodles, we all love eating them. Given is an easy recipe for you to make on busy nights when it can come in handy for a quick dinner and takes less than 20 mins to prepare.

 Preparation

  • Boil the noodles in water and add a little bit of oil, doing so will prevent them from sticking to each other.

  • Chop some onions and some vegetables of your liking. You can add vegetables like carrots, cabbages, peas, baby corns etc.

 Making

  • Pour some oil into a cauldron and let it heat.

  • Add on your chopped vegetables and saute them for 3-4 mins.

  • Now, strain your boiled noodles and add them to the vegetables.

  • Add your sauces like ketchup, soy sauce, green chilli sauce, salt and pepper.

  • Mix everything up thoroughly and let it simmer for another 2-3 mins.

Your noodles are now ready to serve. It is recommended to serve them hot.

Chilli Paneer

Chilli paneer is a dish as delicious as it sounds. So let’s take a look at an easy for you to prepare it at home.

Preparation

  • Chop all of your vegetables preferably capsicum, onions green chillies, garlic and spring onions. Now fry them and set aside.

  • Make a slurry using cornstarch and water. Coat all the paneers equally in it and fry. Set aside fried paneer for now.

 Making

  • Take a pan and add on your vegetables.

  • Now add on your sauces like soy sauce, ketchup, green and red chilli sauces.

  • Mix everything and add the cornstarch slurry.

  • Let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Now add salt and

  • other spices of your choice with black pepper.

  • Finally, add on your paneer and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes before taking it of the stove.

A piping hot and delicious is ready in mere minutes.

Honey Chilli Potato

Let us take a look how a tasty dish like chilli potato can be prepared at home.

 Preparation

  • Chop up your potatoes longitudinally and thin.

  • Chop up some other vegetables like onions, carrots, capsicum, ginger, garlic and green chillies.

 Making

  • Make a slurry using cornstarch, coat all the sliced potatoes in it, fry them and set aside.

  • Pour on some oil and heat it.

  • Add on your ginger and garlic and let it cook for 30-60 seconds.

  • Now add the chopped vegetables and saute them until cooked.

  • Add on your sauces, salt and pepper.

  • Now add the cornstarch slurry and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Now add your fried potatoes to the gravy, mix thoroughly and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.

  • Add a little bit of honey before turning off the flame.

Garnish it with sesame seeds and some cilantro. Your honey chilli potato is now ready to be served.

Paneer Tikka

We all love a paneer recipe, especially when it’s a Paneer tikka one. Let’s have a look on how to prepare it at home.

Preparation

  • Chop your paneer into cubes and chop some onions and capsicum.

  • Mix 3 tablespoons of cornstarch and water and make a slurry. Pour this slurry and add curd in a bowl, finely chopped garlic, ginger, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, salt and pepper.

  • Now add your chopped paneer in it and let it marinate for 20 mins.

Making

  • Take a utensil and pour some oil on it.

  • Now add vegetables to it and fry them.

  • Add the marinated paneer and fry it nicely from all sides.

  • Now add your marination batter which was used to marinate the paneer.

  • Cook everything for some time and turn off the flame.

  • Take some skewers and add your paneer and vegetables to it to enjoy it more accurately.

Your Paneer tikka recipe is now ready.
