Qualifications and Eligibility
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University.

Two years of experience in testing and evaluating agricultural machinery from relevant government or research organizations. OR
-
Two years of experience in teaching or training, including operation or maintenance of agricultural machinery.
Desirable: One year practical experience in mechanized farming practices.
Note: Departmental Officers eligible for direct promotion and deputationists are not considered for this position
Eligibility:
Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or With at least five years of service in the grade after appointment on a regular basis in Level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment through deputation (including short-term contract) should not exceed 56 years as of the closing date for receipt of applications.
Tenure: The period of deputation (including short-term contract), including any previous deputation in another ex-cadre post immediately preceding this appointment, shall typically not exceed three years in total.
