Qualifications and Eligibility

Master’s degree in Agricultural Biotechnology, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Biotechnology, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related Agricultural or Natural Science with at least 60% marks (or a 6.0 GPA on a 10-point scale).

Candidates must have cleared CSIR/UGC NET (including Assistant Professorship) or a national-level exam conducted by Central Government Departments or agencies, such as DST.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in rice genetics, Marker Assisted Breeding, and gene expression studies.

Experience in both rice fieldwork and laboratory settings is preferred.
Age limit: Maximum 35 years
Monthly Remuneration

Rs. 31,000+8% HRA

Note: Selected candidates without a NET/GATE or equivalent national-level examination will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000 plus 8% HRA.
