Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Young Professional (YP-1) at ICAR-CIAE, MP

ICAR- Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Nabi Bagh, Berasia Road, Bhopal is inviting candidates for walk-in-interview for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Young Professional (YP-1) on various dates at 10:30 A.M. at various projects/schemes at the Institute. Here are the details: 

Position Overview 

Qualifications  and Eligibility

Senior Research Fellow (SRF): 

NAIF ABI Project: Interview date - 24.07.2024

• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a background in Agricultural Engineering (B. Tech) or a B.Sc. in Agriculture.

• Experience in agriculture business-related activities.

AICRP on Farm Implements & Machinery (AICRP on FIM): Interview date - 25.07.2024

• Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering with a specialization in Farm Machinery and Power, along with a 4 or 5-year Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

• Experience in the design, development, and testing of agricultural machinery. Proven track record of publishing reports, training manuals, research papers, and proficiency in computer applications.

AICRP on Mechanization of Animal Husbandry (formerly AICRP on Utilization of Animal Energy): Interview date - 26.07.2024

• Master's degree in Livestock Production & Management or a related field with a 4 or 5-year Bachelor's degree. 

• Candidates with a postgraduate degree must have a 3-year Bachelor's degree, a 2-year Master’s degree, NET qualifications, and 2 years of research experience as per relevant guidelines. Candidates without experience may also be considered for the SRF position. 

• Experience in recording and collecting data on livestock and poultry, proficiency in IT applications, virtual meeting platforms, and online training, as well as computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Database Management, and statistical analysis software. 

• Additionally, candidates should have scientific report writing and communication skills in both Hindi and English, experience conducting Farmer-Scientist meetings, field visits, and online training for farmers, and the ability to manage Farmers' Social Media groups.

Young Professional (YP-1)

ICARDA-CIAE, Bhopal Collaborative Research Project: Interview date - 27.07.2024

• B.Sc. (Agriculture) or B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) from a recognized university with first division.

• Working knowledge of IoT, sensors, and their applications.

Age Limit

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Maximum age limit of men is 35 years and women is 40 years

• Young Professional (YP-1): Maximum age limit of men is 21 years and women is 45 years

Monthly Remuneration 

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Rs.31000/- + HRA for year 1 and 2 (Rs.35000/- + HRA for year 3 onward) per month consolidated as per ICAR rules

• Young Professional (YP-1): Rs. 30,000/-(per month consolidated on contractual basis)

Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on the qualification and performance in the interview.
