10-Day Scientific Goat Farming Training Commences at KVK Delhi

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra Delhi has started a comprehensive 10-day training program aimed at empowering farmers in goat farming techniques. The event, which commenced on April 18 and will conclude on April 28, 2024, gathered over 30 enthusiastic trainees from states including Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Maharashtra.

Dr. D.K. Rana, Head of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), highlighted the importance of goat farming in the context of Delhi's climate. Dr. J.P. Godara, a distinguished specialist in animal husbandry, led sessions on foundational principles essential for launching successful goat farming enterprises. The training program was further enriched by the active participation of specialists including Dr. Ritu Singh, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Brijesh Kumar, Ramsagar, and the entire technical team from KVK.
