Children under the age of 5 are eligible for Baal Aadhar and according to the UIDAI, biometrics is no longer required for children under the age of five. The biometric will be required when the child reaches the age of five. After that, a child Aadhar card will be issued, similar to the main Aadhar card.

Once the process is complete, parents will receive an acknowledgment number that they can use to track the status of their application. They will receive an SMS within 60 days, and your Baal Aadhar card will arrive within 90 days.
