CBSE CTET Results 2019 to Be Declared on This Date; More Details Inside

CBSE CTET result 2019 date: The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE will announce the result for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 (CTET) next month (August). According to the official notification, the result is generally announced within six weeks after the exam. The CTET exam was held on 7th July (Sunday), therefore the result should be declared on or before 18th August, 2019.

CBSE CTET result 2019 date: The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE will announce the result for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 (CTET) next month (August). According to the official notification, the result is generally announced within six weeks after the exam. The CTET exam was held on 7th July (Sunday), therefore the result should be declared on or before 18th August, 2019.

CTET Qualifying Marks

In order to qualify the exam, students need to secure 60% marks of 90 marks out of 150 marks. For candidates from the reserved category (SC/ST etc), the cut-off is 55% which comes to around 82 marks out of 150. The CTET exam is conducted in 2 parts i.e. paper I as well as paper II. Both the exams are held for duration of two and a half hours. Students get one mark for every correct answer and there is no negative marking.

The CTET Scorecard will include total marks obtained by the candidate in aggregate as well as marks secured in every subject.

Where to check CBSE CTET result 2019:

The result will be available at the official website of CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test - ctet.nic.in. Candidates will not receive any personal notification regarding the results. Later on, they will have to download their e-certificates from the website. It must be noted that the certificates will be available only for those who have cleared the CTET exam.

Candidates who qualify in the CTET exam will be eligible to get teachers job in primary class i.e. class 1 to class 5 & upper primary till class 7.

As many as 20, 84,174 applicants had applied for the exam this year, out of which, 37221 are speech & hearing challenged. The exam was held in 20 languages at 104 cities across India.
