Krishi Jagran has always been looking out for new ways and new opportunities to help farmers across the country. That is why they came up with the concept named “Farmer The Journalist” through which they empower farmers and rural communities by providing a forum for them to record and disseminate their issues, worries, and achievements.
Through Famer The Journalist (FTJ), Krishi Jagran is training farmers all around the country to acquire the skills required to be agri-journalist. In regard to this concept, Krishi Jagran has been conducting a series of webinars in different languages for farmers from different states.
Today Krishi Jagran conducted a training webinar specifically for women farmers which was attended by many female farmers.
The webinar was led by Shiny Dominic, Director of Krishi Jagran, along with Shruti Joshi, the Senior Journalist at Krishi Jagran. Shruti Joshi conducted the whole webinar and interacted with the female farmers.
Many female farmers who joined the webinar were excited and keen to learn the benefits of joining the Farmer The Journalist initiative. The participants also said that they will soon start sharing the news and videos from their villages and towns. They expressed their gratitude to the Krishi Jagran team for providing such a great platform.

Shruti Nigam Joshi, a senior journalist from Krishi Jagran, and Coordinator Aisha Rai lead the interactive FTJ workshops. We make sure the training is conducted in the farmers' language so they feel at ease and get the most out of it.
