"We had resolved a few days ago to hold these discussions with farmer organizations every Tuesday. Today, I had the opportunity to meet with farmer brothers and sisters from different organizations at Pusa Campus. We had meaningful discussions on various pressing matters, and I was heartened by the positive feedback regarding the government's initiatives for the welfare of farmers," he said.
Farmers commended the government’s schemes and policies aimed at improving their livelihoods. Chouhan assured them that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the welfare of farmers remains the government's top priority. "With coordinated and collective efforts, we will leave no stone unturned in advancing the progress of farmers. This dialogue will continue, and we will move forward together to ensure their welfare," Chouhan added.
The minister's regular interactions with farmers aim to foster an open dialogue and take concrete steps toward enhancing the agricultural sector, ensuring that farmers' voices are heard and their needs are addressed.
