Yogi stated that Uttar Pradesh will receive Rs 1.83 lakh crore as opposed to Rs 1.46 lakh crore in the previous budget, which will assist the state government in undertaking various development projects. "The budget includes seven 'saptarishi' opportunities. The 'saptarishi' were the founders of Indian systems, under whose guidance India's sanatan traditions grew and established India as the world leader," the chief minister said at a press conference.

On Wednesday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget for 2023-24, listing seven priorities- Saptarishi (seven priorities)- to guide the country through the Amrit Kaal, the 25-year journey towards its centennial as a modern nation. "The Budget establishes...seven priorities. They complement one another and serve as the 'Saptarishi' guiding us through the Amrit Kaal," she said in her 87-minute Budget Speech.

Inclusive Development; Reaching the Last Mile; Infrastructure and Investment; Unleashing Potential; Green Growth; Youth Power; and Financial Sector are the seven priorities. "You must have seen that over the last three years, over 80 crore people have benefited from PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojna," the Uttar Pradesh chief minister said at a press conference. The programme has been extended for another year. This is also a significant portion of the budget."

He believes that infrastructure and investment in railways, airports, and water ports will benefit Uttar Pradesh the most. "We've been saying that UP has enormous potential. "The world is looking to India with hope, and everyone in the country is looking to Uttar Pradesh," he said. According to Adityanath, the Union Budget fulfils the aspirations of a developed India.

"When India celebrates its 100th anniversary of independence, every citizen will be able to say proudly that he is a citizen of the world's largest economic superpower," he said. The most important aspect of the budget is its vision for the next 25 years. India's per capita income has more than doubled in the last nine years, and the country is on its way to becoming the world's largest superpower.

Adityanath praised an increase in the budgetary allocation for the PM Awas Yojna, saying that over 45.5 lakh houses have been allocated under the housing scheme in the last six years. According to him, more than 10 lakh houses have recently been sanctioned under the scheme in Uttar Pradesh. The chief minister stated that the state is on track to meet its "one district, one medical college" promise. He stated that, in addition to new medical colleges, the state will receive new paramedical and nursing colleges, which will provide job opportunities for young people.

He claimed that Uttar Pradesh is now first in the production of food grains, sugarcane, ethanol, and milk due to the government's efforts in the agriculture, dairy, and fisheries sectors over the last six years. According to him, the state has enormous potential in the agriculture sector due to the availability of fertile soil and water reserves. "On behalf of the people of Uttar Pradesh, I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the finance minister for a 'sarvsparshi' (all-inclusive) budget that will meet people's aspirations," Adityanath said.
