Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is inviting students to apply for internship for the month of April 2023. Those interested can read the details given below before applying.
Eligibility Criteria for FSSAI Internship 2023
Students pursuing a full time Graduate/Post Graduate Degree/higher degree from a Recognized College within India/ abroad, in any of the following:
(a) Pursuing Post Graduate Degree/B.Tech/BE from a recognized Institution/ University in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Dairy Technology or Food Technology or Food Science and Technology or Food & Nutrition or Edible Oil Technology or Microbiology or Agricultural or horticultural Sciences or Industrial Microbiology or Toxicology or Public Health or Life Science or Biotechnology / Fruit & Vegetable Technology or Food Safety & Quality Assurance.
(b) PG Diploma/Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication & Public Relations.
(c) Business Administration and Management including policy regulation & related fields - Only at FSSAI(HQ)
(d) B.E. or B. Tech (Only 3rd and 4th Year students) in Computer Science/Information Technology Software Engineering or related Stream.
(e) Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Public Policy Public Administration.
(f) Bachelor or Master of Law.
FSSAI Internship Stipend/Salary
The deserving students/ interns will be given a stipend of Rs. 10,000 for the internship period. The criteria for deserving interns would be decided based on their attendance, assessment by their respective reporting officers and evaluation of the report by the Committee.
How to apply for FSSAI Internship
Interested and eligible students can apply online in the specified format before March 25. Students who have applied for internship for previous months will have to apply again.
The shortlisted candidates will have to submit a short write up or presentation for final selection.
The final list of shortlisted candidates along with their date of joining and Internship tenure will be announced online on FSSAI website by the respective office where they have opted for internship.
