GATE 2022 results have been released today, March 17, 2022, on the official website – gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Candidates who appeared in the GATE 2022 exam will have to check in to the GATE application portal with their Enrollment ID / Email Address and Password.
On March 21, 2022, IIT Kharagpur will issue the GATE 2022 scorecard for qualifying students.
The GATE 2022 scorecard is valid for three years from the date of issue. GATE 2022 participants can apply for postgraduate engineering programs at IITs and other participating engineering institutes. Many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), notably NTPC, GAIL, IOCL, NPCIL, and others, accept the GATE score as one of the qualifying requirements.
Normalization Process For GATE 2022
GATE 2022 had 29 papers in total. The exam for some papers was held in a single session, and the result would be based on the candidate's actual marks. For some papers, the GATE 2022 exam was conducted in numerous sessions; in this situation, normalized marks corresponding to raw marks obtained by a candidate will be calculated, and the GATE 2022 Score will be based primarily on the normalized marks.
Qualifying Marks For GATE 2022
GATE 2022 qualifying scores in each subject for general category candidates are 25 out of 100. Once the results are released, candidates will be able to view the subject-specific qualifying marks.
The final answer key will be used to determine the GATE 2022 result. After considering the concerns raised by candidates regarding the tentative answer key, IIT Kharagpur will develop the final answer key. Any complaints to the final answer key would be rejected by IIT Kharagpur.
However, if there are any disputes in the GATE 2022 results, candidates must go to the Courts and Tribunals in Kolkata alone, which would have the exclusive jurisdiction to consider and settle them.
