Essential Qualification
Candidates must have completed their Masters in Agricultural Sciences/ Plant Molecular Biology or Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Botany with at least 60 percent marks. Those with practical experience in working with field crops (physiology) & basic molecular biology ways (cDNA cloning, real time PCR) would be given preference.
Age Limit
Candidate should not be above 35 years
Location - Chennai
Salary/Remuneration at M S Swaminathan Research Foundation
Candidates who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) / GATE or (b) Selection process via National level examinations held by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions will get Rs. 31000 per month along with 24 percent HRA.
Those who do not fall under the above category will get Rs. 25000 plus 24 percent HRA.
