‘KISAN,’ India's most prominent agricultural exhibition, begins today and will run until December 18, 2022, at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Moshi, near Bhosari, Pune (Timing: 9 AM to 5 PM). The exhibition arena, which spans 15 acres, will host 400+ companies and is expected to attract over one lakh visitors in five days.
At KISAN Fair, the SPARK Pavilion of Agri Startups will be a major attraction. Over 60 Agri Startups will be showcasing their new technologies and concepts. The SMART Project under the Maharashtra Government's Department of Agriculture is initiating a dialogue between these startups and Farmer Producer companies from Maharashtra.
Krishi Jagran team reached the fair to meet with numerous farmers, industry leaders, distributors, manufacturers, scientists, and associations. This fair brings Agri professionals, policymakers, like-minded people, government officials, and media from across India to engage in conversation with the most influential figures in Indian agriculture. The latest products and innovative concepts in agriculture will be on display.
KISAN has received support from the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of Indian, and the Department of Agriculture, Maharashtra State. Leading agricultural institutions and associations are also supporting and participating in the show.
KISAN exhibition has special pavilions focusing on Protected cultivation, Water, Agri Input, Tools & Implements, seeds & planting material to help farmers locate things of their interest. Open Arena will display large farm machinery & implements. Farmers will see many innovative farm technologies especially evolved for Indian agro-climatic conditions.
Farmers can now pre-register using the KISAN mobile app. KISAN.App is a platform for connecting and sharing knowledge among industry and farmers. The KISAN app will collect farmer information in advance to save them time at the KISAN Entrance. Farmers from 18 different states have already signed up for KISAN 2022. This figure is expected to exceed 100,000.
Before, during, and after the exhibition, the KISAN.app will connect farmers with exhibitors. They can use their mobile to access product and service information, read brochures, and watch videos. Exhibitors and visitors can start a conversation on the same platform long before they meet at the exhibition.
