The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will announce its second merit list for KVS class 1 admission today on 6th May. On May 3, it released the first merit list. Parents can see the list for their children's admission on the Kendriya Vidyalaya's official website, kvsangathan.nic.in after it is released.
Those whose names did not appear on the first list should check the second. On May 10, KVS will also release the third list. It should also be reminded that the announcement of a provisional selection list of candidates based on priority service category for unreserved seats, if any, will take place between May 6 and May 17. The last date for KVS admissions for this academic year is June 30 for all classes except class 11th.
KVS Admissions 2022: How to Check Merit List
Step 1: Go to the KVS official website.
Step 2: Go to the "KVS Admissions 2022 Second Merit List" link on the homepage.
Step 3: Choose your state and branch of the Kendriya Vidyalaya.
Step 4: A screen will display the KVS Class 1 entrance merit list.
Step 5: Review the list and save it for future use.
KVS Admissions 2022: Required Documents
The following documents will be required for the admission process after the candidates' names appear on the admission list.
— A birth certificate or other proof of age certificate
— Proof of residency
— Retirement certificates for uniformed defence employees, members of Parliament's grandchildren, and PSU employees
For grandchildren of KVS employees, proof of either parent's relationship with them is required.
— Proof of the child's parent's relationship with the KVS employee
— If applicable, a caste certificate
The government removed the Member of Parliament quota for KV admissions this year. It has also reduced the quota for education ministry personnel; nevertheless, the KVS will now include seats for children who have been orphaned as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Supernumerary seats will be created for children orphaned by Covid-19, according to the most recent guidelines. This means that these sets will be stronger than the rest of the class.
As many as 10 seats per KV would be created for such youngsters under the PM CARES for Children scheme. Under the newly implemented quota, up to two children in each class will be admitted.
