With a resounding start in the North and East, Krishi Jagran, India's leading Agri-Media house officially inaugurated the 'MFOI, VVIF Kisan Bharat Yatra,' which is now charting its course through the southern expanse. The flag-off ceremony was held at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore, on February 1, 2024. This groundbreaking initiative aims to transform rural landscapes through the concept of smart villages, heralding a new era for the agrarian sector.

Spanning from December 2023 to November 2024, this is set to traverse 25 states and 4520 locations across the country. The journey is poised to connect with over 1 lakh millionaire farmers, where Mahindra Tractors stands as a stalwart supporter, demonstrating unwavering commitment since their endorsement at the Millionaire Farmer of India Awards 2023 in PUSA on December 6-8, 2023.

Distinguished guests at the event included Dr V Venkatasubramanian, Director, ATARI Zone-11, as the esteemed chief guest, Manickam Athappa Gounder, Chairman - MAK Controls and Systems Pvt. Ltd., serving as the guest of honour, Dr. CK Ashok Kumar, Chairman, First World Community, and MC Dominic, Founder, Editor-in-Chief & CEO of Krishi Jagran & Agriculture World. The flag-off ceremony, held today, was supported by VST and the First World Community, reaffirming their dedication to advancing agriculture and rural prosperity.

The initiative undertaken by Krishi Jagran is a beacon of inspiration and a game-changer for the sector. With a focus on value addition, increased exports, and the integration of technology, the trajectory of farming in our country is set to ascend," said, Dr V Venkatasubramanian, Director, ATARI Zone 11.
