Here are some ways to reduce air pollution

Grow More Plants

It has been discovered by NASA that many household plants, like Peace Lily, English Ivy, and Gerbera Daisy are helpful in removing carbon monoxide from the air. If you use these natural air filters in your home or office it will greatly reduce the amount of indoor air pollution & help remove recurring colds & respiratory problems.

Use Public Transportation

Try using public transportation. Carpool & rideshare if you have the ability to do so instead of using your personal vehicle. This way, you will not be contributing to air pollution.

Use Solar Energy

You may also consider using solar power in place of regular power. Solar power will save lots of energy for you and most importantly it will also end up saving you money in the long run as well.

Use Natural Gas Instead of Charcoal

Use propane or natural gas grill in place of charcoal. This way, you’re not putting fossil fuels into the air that can be incredibly harmful to the world around you.

Get Energy-Efficient Vehicles

You can also purchase vehicles that are helpful to the environment. At present, you will find many options available in the market that are either efficient on gas or are hybrids. Also if you’re planning for a new car then go energy efficient if you can.

Avoid Plastic Bags

Plastic bags are made from oil products and they can damage the environment because it takes them forever to decompose. So it's better to avoid using plastic bags.
