National Testing Agency to Release UGC NET Result 2019 on This Confirmed Date; Method to Check Result Here

The National Testing Agency or NTA will announce the UGC NET Result 2019 very soon. The result will be available to students on the official website of UGC NET - ntanet.nic.in. The written examination this year was held from 20 June to 26 June in the CBT mode.

The National Testing Agency or NTA will announce the UGC NET Result 2019 very soon. The result will be available to students on the official website of UGC NET - ntanet.nic.in. The written examination this year was held from 20 June to 26 June in the CBT mode.

According to the official notice, UGC NET result 2019 will be declared on 15 July, 2019. The Agency had published the answer key on 1 July 2019 and the objection window was opened till 3 July, 2019. Candidates who had appeared for NET exam can follow these simple steps to check their result.

Steps to check UGC NET Result 2019:

Step 1- Go to the official website of UGC NET - ntanet.nic.in.

Step 2 - Click on the UGC NET result link available on the home page.

Step 3 - A new page will open wherein you will have to enter their login details.

Step 4 - The UGC NET result will be displayed on screen.

Step 5 - Check & keep a hard copy of the same for further use.

What is the Passing Criteria of UGC NET Exam?

Candidates who have appeared for the UGC NET exam must know the passing criteria. In order to qualify the exam, students belonging to general category need to obtain at least 40 % aggregate in both the papers taken together while those from the reserved category need to secure 35 % aggregate marks in both papers together for Assistant Professor / JRF.

The total slots will be allocated to different categories according to the reservation policy of Government of India. NTA said that there will be no revaluation of the UGC-NET exam result 2019.

This year 6, 81,718 students have appeared for the UGC NET exam that was conducted in different cities across the country.  National Eligibility Test or UGC NET is conducted as a qualifier for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship posts in national universities.
