PM Kisan latest update: Here's an important information for all the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. As per media reports, the government may release the 14th installment to eligible farmers very soon. However, only farmers who meet the criteria and requirements will receive the money this time.
It is worth mentioning that PM Kisan Yojana installments are disbursed directly into farmers' bank accounts through DBT after every four months. The 13th installment of PM Kisan was released on February 27, 2023. As a result, the 14th installment could be issued between May and June. However government has not made any official announcement.
But before this, farmers must finish their verification process so that the money can be deposited into their accounts on time.
These farmers will get 14th installment
The verification process or e-KYC has been made necessary in order to identify the farmers who are benefiting from the PM Kisan Yojana. Only farmers whose e-KYC, Aadhaar seeding, land seeding, and other details have been updated will be eligible for the next instalment.
Aside from that, the beneficiary should have his name, Aadhaar card, bank details, and other documents rectified. If any information needs to be updated, please visit pmkisan.gov.in.
More than 12 crore farmers have enrolled on the PM Kisan Yojana official webpage, but only 8.69 farmers have received Rs 2,000 under the 13th installment. The remaining 3.30 registered farmers could not get the financial assistance due to many reasons, some of which we have mentioned above.
Some of these are non-beneficiaries, while others have not had the verification completed, preventing them from receiving the benefit of fresh installments.
