PM Kisan Big Update: Complete e-KYC Before January 28 to Receive Next Installment

The government had made e-KYC mandatory for all the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana to prevent fraud and scams.

PM Kisan 13th installment is likely to be released next week!

At a time when crores of farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the 13th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, media reports claimed that as many as 16.47 lakh farmers in Bihar have not completed their e-KYC.

The state agriculture department has urged these 16.47 lakh farmers to update their e-KYC on or before January 28. Those who do not complete the e-KYC will not be provided the 13th installment. To get e-KYC done, farmers can visit PM Kisan official website or reach out to the nearest Common Service Center (CSC). By just paying a nominal amount, they can get their e-KYC updated. Below we have given the complete online as well as offline process to complete e-KYC.

PM Kisan e-KYC Online Process

If you prefer doing it online then you can use PM Kisan mobile app or laptop or computer. Follow the steps given below to update e-KYC online;

  • Go to the official website of PM Kisan.

  • Click on ‘e-KYC’ option on the right-hand side of homepage under farmers' corner section.

  • Then enter your Aadhaar and click on the search button.

  • Fill in the required details and submit.

If everything goes well then e-KYC will be completed or else it will show invalid. In this case, you will have to contact the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra.

PM Kisan e-KYC Offline Process

Step 1 – Visit your nearest CSC Center.

Step 2 – Submit the required details/information.

Step 3 – After that enter your biometrics to log in.

Step 4 – Now fill in your Aadhar card number carefully and submit it. You will receive a confirmation SMS on registered mobile number.

The government had made e-KYC mandatory for all the new as well as existing beneficiaries of PM Kisan yojana last year to prevent scams and frauds.

As per media reports, the 13th installment of PM Kisan will be released next week, most probably before January 31. However there is no official confirmation from the government.
