Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the exam dates for the SSC Constable General Duty (GD) Examination 2025. According to the official notification, the Commission will conduct the exams for the Constable (GD) positions in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau in February 2025.
The exam will take place over multiple dates, starting from February 4 and continuing through February 25, 2025. Specific exam dates include February 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 25.
The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) will consist of 80 objective-type questions, each carrying 2 marks. The total duration of the exam will be 1 hour (60 minutes). Candidates should note that there will be negative marking, with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
The SSC Constable GD Exam 2025 will be divided into four sections: Part A (General Intelligence and Reasoning), Part B (General Knowledge and Awareness), Part C (Elementary Mathematics), and Part D (English/Hindi), each containing 20 questions, with a maximum of 40 marks per section.
After the computer-based exam, candidates who qualify will proceed to the next stages of the selection process, which include the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination, and Document Verification. These stages are designed to assess the physical fitness, medical standards, and verification of the candidates' documents to ensure eligibility for the final selection.
The exam will be conducted in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages, such as Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The registration process for the SSC Constable GD Exam began on September 5, 2024, and ended on October 14, 2024. Candidates who have successfully registered can expect the SSC GD Constable admit card to be available seven days before the exam date.
