On Republic Day on Tuesday, the national capital is expected to see a huge tractor rally led by farmers from different states. The farmers' union has signed an agreement with the Delhi police to peacefully carry out the Republic Day tractor march.
The rally will be held at three boundary points in Delhi—Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur—and will be provided with sufficient cover, police said. The tractor parade will pull in hundreds of farmers from western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
250 kilometers Tractor race
According to officials, the rally on the Ghazipur border would be approximately 50 kilometers long, 100 kilometers long on the Singhu border and 125 kilometers long on the Tikri border.
The tractor rally, in particular, will be 250 kilometers long. Dharmendra Malik, the national media head of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), says that farmers across India will also rally in their respective districts in addition to border regions.
‘In Delhi, two and a half million tractors are coming. A large number of tractors is an answer to some leaders who said that on January 6, only 60,000 tractors participated in the rehearsal rally, while the country has around 40 lakh registered tractors. Hence, farmers will demonstrate their power to the government in this rally,’ he said,
No rumors of celebrities attending the tractor rally have been published so far. The Ghazipur tractor rally will go up to Akshardham Temple and back again. A speed limit of 10 kilometers per hour has been fixed. According to BKU Chief Rakesh Tikait, ‘no outsider can participate in the parade; only registered tractors will be permitted.’
Farmers' unions strengthen security
Private firm was roped in during the tractor rally to keep security arrangements in check. The number of volunteers has risen from around 150 to 500. At each protest venue, a war room has been set up to ensure successful organization. There will be 40 ambulances deployed along the road to attend to any medical emergencies. R-Day tableaux will display a range of paintings from across states portraying village life, the protest against the Centre's contentious farm rules, and hailing their courage, according to organizers.After an 'ardas ', the rally will begin at 11 am.

Pack the ration and drink for you for 24 hours.

For any tractor, the flag of farmers' organizations, as well as the national flag, should be installed.

Should not carry any guns, not even sticks, or do not use banners with any slogans that are offensive or derogatory.

Route & timing’s of the 26th January Tractor Parade:
Tractor parade will take place on January 26. Processions will begin from Singhu border and end at Kundli Manesar Palwal Expressway. All the processions will converge at Kundli Manesar Palwal Expressway says police. The parade will be held in three different locations.
'Three routes were finalized for the march, starting from the Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur border points,' said Gurbachan Singh Chabba, spokesman for the Kisan Sangarsh Committee.
Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, Bawana, Qutabgarh, Auchandi border, and Kharkhoda toll plaza will be crossed by those starting from the Singhu border. The whole road will be 63 kilometers in length.
The 62-km long second route will pass via Nagloi, Najafgarh Jharoda border, Rohtak bypass, and Asoda toll plaza, beginning from the Tikri border, the farmers' leaders said.
Tractors beginning from Ghazipur can cross the Hapur Road and Lal Kuan boundary of Apsara. This is the longest course for the march, spanning 68 kilometers.
Tractor rally in Mumbai
On Sunday evening, thousands of farmers from all over Maharashtra arrived in Mumbai to engage in a rally in Monday's state capital against the Centre's three new farm laws.
‘Police have improved security at Azad Maidan, the site of the rally in southern Mumbai, and State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) personnel have also been deployed there. Drones will also be used to keep an eye on the case,’ an official from the police said.
