UIDAI Update: Step-to-Step Guide to Change/Update Mobile Number in Aadhar Card

Almost all government and official operations, including creating a new bank account, getting a driver's license, passport, ration card, buying a new car, or obtaining a SIM card, require an Aadhaar card. Name, registered mobile number, DOB, and home address are just a few of the private and sensitive details that are included on the Aadhaar card.

Users may now simply change or add a new mobile number to their Aadhaar card according to the most recent update to the UIDAI webpage. By enabling Aadhaar holders to change or link their phone numbers online or offline, UIDAI has simplified the procedure.

Follow These Easy Steps to Update your Mobile Number Online

  • Navigate to the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI)

  • Select 'Update Your Aadhaar at Update/Enrolment Centre' from the My Aadhaar drop-down option

  • You can find your nearest Aadhar center by entering your state and district or your PIN code

  • Proceed to the nearest Aadhaar center. Fill out the update form

  • You must include a fee of Rs 50 with your updating form

  • You will be given an acknowledgment receipt with a URN number. You can use the number to track the progress of your application

  • Within 90 days, your mobile phone number will be updated in your database

Follow These Easy Steps to Update your Mobile Number Offline

  • Go to the neighborhood Aadhaar center.

  • Complete the Aadhaar center's update form.

  • Send an executive your request at this point.

  • Include Rs. 50 fees with your application form.

  • An acknowledgment receipt with a URN number will be sent by Aadhar Executive. Using the URN, you can monitor the process.

  • Your mobile number will be modified in the Aadhaar database within 90 days.
