In addition to instructing officers to stay vigilant, the Chief Minister directed the Secretary of Disaster Management to communicate with all District Magistrates. "Assistance should be made accessible to District Magistrates based on their need," remarked CM Dhami.

"Road repairs in the districts should also be hastened." According to Dhami, the Central Government has sanctioned Rs 23.28 crore to Uttarakhand under the Agricultural Development Programme and Rs 34.66 crore as a financial incentive under PMGSY.

In light of the Chardham Yatra, the Chief Minister also directed staff to make prompt preparations. The Chief Minister stated that required preparations must be made ahead of time so that devotees do not encounter any health issues during the upcoming Chardham Yatra. In this context, he has conducted discussions with the Union Health Minister. "Instructions have been provided to the Agriculture Department to examine the loss suffered to farmers owing to rainfall in the state," Dhami said. Whatever assistance is required for the farmers will be provided.

He stated that officials have been instructed to keep a close eye on the issue by constantly reviewing the rainfall in Joshimath and other regions. Instructing officials to stay watchful 24 hours a day, he stated that, aside from earthquakes, most disasters used to occur primarily during the rainy season, but in recent years, disasters have occurred in all seasons. Given this, the state requires specific planning to deal with disasters.

Disaster damage can be considerably mitigated with increased knowledge and early warning. He went on to say that because there will be more people in the next Chardham than last year, the preparations began in December-January. He conducted his own review by conducting four sessions. The necessary preparations are being taken to ensure a smooth and safe journey. Dr. Ranjit Sinha, Secretary Disaster Management, briefed the Chief Minister on the situation in the state as a result of the rains.

He stated that there was no loss of life as a result of the rain. Two persons were killed in Tehri traffic incidents, while four vehicles were damaged in Mussoorie owing to the collapse of a parking wall, and passengers were saved safely in Ramnagar, Nainital, after a bus was swept away by the river. He further stated that compensation has been distributed for the loss of sheep and goats in Uttarkashi due to lightning.

Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that the state administration is committed to the welfare of women. Not only that, but the concept of safe motherhood is being achieved, with 4944 pregnant/lactating mothers receiving Rs 1.15 crores digitally into their bank accounts. The Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana aims to recompense working women's income while also ensuring their comfort and good nourishment.

This is done in three instalments under the incentive scheme, the first of which is Rs 1000 at the time of pregnancy registration, the second of which is Rs 2000 if the beneficiary has at least one antenatal checkup after six months of pregnancy, and the third of which is Rs 2000 when the child's birth is registered and the child begins the first cycle of vaccines including BCG, OPV, DPT, and Hepatitis-B.
