Lastly in Northern part of India, because of prevalence of dry winds, dry weather will prevail over Northwest plains that include Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan & Uttar Pradesh. Weather in many parts of hilly region is also likely to remain dry. Talking about the weather in Delhi, the air quality in the National Capital will remain poor due to which people may face some problems.  As per the meteorologists, the National capital will probably keep encountering poor air quality in the coming days because of the prevailing wind direction & stubble burning from neigbouring states.

The overall Air Quality Index or AQI in Delhi reached the 301 mark by 10 pm yesterday (13 October 2019). Pollution level has slightly increased over entire Northwest India.
