The Delhi University has published the revised eligibility criteria for admissions to undergraduate courses in colleges under the varsity. The students can now check the revised eligibility criteria at the official website @ du.ac.in.
According to the latest notification, candidates need to possess a minimum of 45 per cent marks to apply for Bachelor of Arts, 40 per cent marks in aggregate to apply for Bachelor of Commerce, and 50 per cent marks to apply for different undergraduate science programmes.

1. (Hons.) English-
45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. The merit will be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects. The applicant should have studied and passed English in the qualifying exam and must also include English for calculation of ‘Best Four’ percentage.
2. B.A. (Hons.) Hindi-
An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination is needed. Applicants securing 40% marks in the aggregate and 50% marks in the subject concerned are also eligible for admission to the relevant Honours Course. The merit will be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects. The applicant should have studied and passed Hindi in the qualifying exam and should include Hindi for calculation of ‘Best Four’ percentage.
Adding to it, applicants who have passed the intermediate Examination of an Indian University/Board with minimum 40% marks in the aggregate and also “Prabhakar in Hindi” will be eligible for admission. The varsity has extended the date of admission process till June 22 in compliance with the Delhi High Court’s directives.
