Hurry! PNB Recruitment 2019 Begins: Check Important Dates, Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

The Punjab National Bank (PNB) recruitment process for 325 vacancies will begin tomorrow i.e. from 14th February 2019. This recruitment is one of the first banking recruitment in the country which applies the newly announced 10% reservation for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) of the society.

The Punjab National Bank (PNB) recruitment process for 325 vacancies has begun. This recruitment is one of the first banking recruitment in the country which applies the newly announced 10% reservation for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) of the society.  

Apply Online: 

Candidates who want to apply for various Managerial posts and Officer posts can apply online through the official website of PNB. 

Vacancies: 

The current vacancies have been announced by PNB in Senior Manager (Credit), Manager (Credit), Senior Manager (Law), Manager (Law), Manager (HRD) and Officer (IT) posts.  

Important Dates: 

1. Opening Date for Online Registration: February 14, 2019

2. Closing Date for Online Registration (Including for candidates from far-flung areas): March 2, 2019 

3. Tentative Date of Online Examination: March 24, 2019 

4. Downloading Admit Card for Test: March: 14, 2019

Eligibility Criteria:

Senior Manager (Credit) - CA/ICWA/MBA/PGDM (Finance) with 05 years experience
Manager (Credit) - CA/ICWA/MBA/PGDM (Finance) with 03 years experience
Senior Manager (Law) - Law degree with 07 years experience
Manager (Law) - Law degree with 03 years experience
Manager (HRD) - Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relationship/HR/HRD/HRM Labor Law with 03 years experience
Officer (IT) - MCA/BE/BTech (Electronics & Communication/Computer Science & Technology/IT) with 01 year experience

Age Limit:

Senior Manager (Credit) - 25 to 37 years
Manager (Credit) - 25 to 35 years
Senior Manager (Law) - 28 to 35 years
Manager (Law) - 25 to 32 years
Manager (HRD) - 25 to 35 years
Manager (IT) - 21 to 28 years

Applicants should also have relevant years of work experience. In this regard, details can be found from the job notification on the official website, which will be released soon. 

The written exam will comprise reasoning, English language, quantitative aptitude and professional knowledge test. The exam will carry a total of 200 marks and candidates will be allowed 120 minutes to attempt the questions. 

According to the official notification, "Persons who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs and whose family has a gross annual income below Rs. 8.00 Lakhs (Rupees Eight Lakhs Only) are to be identified as EWSs for benefit of reservation. Income shall also include income from all sources like salary, agriculture, business, profession etc. for the financial year prior to the year of application.
