During his time abroad, he noticed the high demand for organic Indian products, which were sold at premium prices in these markets. This inspired him to leave his job overseas and return to his village to take up farming. Initially, he practiced chemical-based farming, which yielded good produce but came with high expenses. In 2018, he shifted to natural farming, which not only reduced his agricultural costs but also boosted his production and profits.

"Mohan Singh is also associated with an FPO (Farmer Producer Organization), which makes it easier for him to market his vegetables and other produce. Through the FPO, he is able to reach larger markets and secure better prices for his products.

In contrast, the costs involved in chemical farming are significantly higher. Mohan Singh revealed that by practicing natural farming on 5 bighas of land, he earns an annual profit of Rs 15 lakhs. His produce is sold in major markets such as Delhi and Chandigarh.
