We all know that tractor is an important agricultural vehicle. It is basically used for plowing, pushing, tilling, harrowing, planting, etc. However, in India, there are many farmers who don’t have tractor because of financial issues. In such a situation, they take tractors on rent or use farm animals.
In order to help farmers, the central government has launched a scheme that provides subsidy to buy tractors. The scheme is known as PM Kisan Tractor Yojana. The best thing about this scheme is that a farmer will be able to buy tractor of any company and that too in half the price.
Government provides 20 to 50 percent subsidy

How to take benefit of PM Kisan Tractor Yojana

The first condition for a farmer who has registered for PM Kisan Tractor Yojana is that – he or she should not have purchased any tractor in the last 7 years. A farmer can buy only one tractor.

Apart from this, women farmers are given priority in this scheme.

How to apply for PM Kisan Tractor Yojana?
Farmers can apply online as well as offline for this scheme. All they need to do is go to the Agriculture Department Office or Nearest CSC center. A common service center, take the application form and fill in all the information asked in it like name, address, etc. After that, attach all your documents with the application form and submit them there.
