Good news for the beneficiaries of PM-Kisan Yojana. As per the latest news report, the government has decided to increase the amount of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana from existing Rs. 6000 per year to Rs. 10000 per year.

The beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana of Madhya Pradesh will now get financial assistance of Rs 10000 instead of Rs 6000 annually. Madhya Pradesh government will give Rs. 4000 per year to the farmers from its side. In this way, now farmers will get a total Rs 10000 yearly i.e.  Rs. 6000 from Centre under PM Kisan Yojana and Rs. 4000 from the state government.

It must be noted that a few months back many farmers, as well as agriculture experts, had asked the Centre to increase the amount under this yojana as the money was not sufficient for the farmers in this crisis. Though the Modi government had released two installments during the Covid-19 pandemic still many believed that the installment of Rs. 2000 was not sufficient for the farmers to deal with rising expenses.

Hence keeping these points in mind, Madhya Pradesh government has added some amount of money from its side.  Now small and marginal farmers in the state will be given total financial assistance of Rs. 10000 per year.

Under the Modi government’s ambitious Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers having 2 acres of land are given Rs. 6000 annually in three installments of Rs. 2000. The amount is directly transferred to their bank accounts.  The first installment is disbursed between 1 December to 31 March. The second installment is transferred directly to the farmers' account between April 1 to July 31 and the third installment is given from August 1 to November 30.

At present crores of farmers in India are taking benefit of the PM Kisan scheme hence if you have not yet registered then do it now so that you can get the next installment which will be transferred in the first week of December.
