In April 2022, India and Australia signed an Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) to allow duty-free access to a variety of goods across many sectors. The India-Australia education collaboration is a key component of the ECTA.
Several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) have been signed between the two countries to enhance academic interactions, with a focus on higher education and research.
The FICCI Higher Education Delegation to Australia will give Indian stakeholders the opportunity to learn about and experience the Australian model of higher and technical education, policy reforms, and the country's robust research and innovation ecosystem.
