Forma Launches F-Series Range of Tractors Built in India, Ready to Make Waves in the Global Market

Forma added another feather in its cap by launching a new futuristic range of Forma Tractors on March 18, 2021. Forma will be built locally in India with European Technology for the world market in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of “Make in India for the World.”

The inaugural ceremony saw the lighting of lamp by the Chairman and Managing Director of ACE, Mr. Vijay Agarwal, and the Director of ACE, Mrs. Mona Agarwal.

Action Construction Equipment Limited (ACE), the well-known material handling and construction equipment manufacturing company of India, acquired this European brand Forma in 2009.

Forma tractors are built in-house and designed specifically for the global market. The Forma plant is sprawled over an area of 32500 sqm. in the picturesque industrial area of Botosani. It features state-of-the-art facilities and about 500 machines, including CNC’s, broaching machines, giant forging hammers, conveyorized paint shop, giant tool room with huge size dies, and automated warehouse to 7 levels.

The company has developed a R&D center to create new designs.

The company intends to produce a range of tractors from 26HP to 100HP, available in both 2-wheel drives and 4-wheel drive configurations.

The Iot-Telematics of the tractor include:

• Location marking
• Live tracking
• Geo fencing
• Actual v/s IDLE state of vehicle
• Fuel indicator
• Engine run hours
• Ignition switch on/off
• Service reminder
• Filter choking
• Start-Stop track
• Engine temperature
• Battery low warning

According to Mr. Vijay Agarwal, he was impressed by the manufacturing facilities, machine versatility, and the technology of the Forma plant in Romania. Their products are renowned for their robustness, ruggedness, reliability, dependability, and efficiency. That’s the reason ACE acquired Forma.

Mr. Vijay also stated that he felt this strategic acquisition would facilitate entry of the company into European and CIS region. Mr. Vijay has high regards for their skilled workforce. He salutes their enthusiasm and agility to work.

Another thing that impressed Mr. Vijay, according to him, was the production of numerous assemblies and aggregates for the Russian armoured vehicle by the plant.
