The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has launched the 'Be Rozgar Se Swarozgar Scheme' in order to give adequate job opportunities to the youth of J&K and make them self-sufficient.
The scheme is part of the government's 10-point campaign to give a renewed push to the execution of employment and other beneficiary-oriented initiatives on the ground.
The objective of the 10-point campaign is to accomplish quantifiable results within certain timelines in order to make a difference in the lives of ordinary citizens at the grassroots level.
The 'Be Rozgar Se Swarozgar Scheme' would provide employment opportunities for the youth of J&K. This System was launched to provide job opportunities to young people who are struggling to earn their living. It is a targeted campaign to identify and employ at least five people in every Panchayat, with a total of two lakh youth in the UT. As part of the process, financial assistance and skill development will be provided. It will ensure that a local youngster has the opportunity to make a living.
The primary goal of this scheme is to provide employment opportunities in both urban and rural regions via the establishment of self-employment ventures. Many young people have lost their jobs as a result of the effects of COVID-19 on our country's economy.
To assist these youngsters and offer them with adequate opportunities, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has chosen to implement this scheme so that unemployed people will be provided employment.
The young entrepreneurs are being sensitized about the different schemes that are operated by several line departments which are also being granted to youth, who will now be entitled to participate in the online tendering process of the District Capex Plan up to a limit of 3 lacs in their local Panchayats.
To create awareness among the youth about ‘Be Rozgar Se Swarozgar’ Scheme, the government started “Yogyata se Rozgaar Mahotsav”.
The scheme was launched with the goal of assisting a country's youth in bettering their future for tomorrow. This scheme will not only help the youth of the country to get employed but also help the country to get developed. The scheme will be beneficial to applicants who want to work but are having difficulty finding them.
Apart from this scheme, the government is constantly assisting young through different schemes to enable employment, providing self-employment guidance, and skill development for jobless youth in order to increase their incomes, hence encouraging inclusive growth.
